Victim therapy and behavioral health

Case management for crime-victim therapy and behavioral health programs

Therapy programs often answer to several funders, each counting sessions and outcomes its own way. Collaborate captures each session and measurement once, and computes every funder's report from the same records.

“Our therapy team struggled to use our database because it wasn't a HIPAA-compliant database at that time. Our therapists were using one set of documents, our medical team was using another set of documents. Collaborate allowed us to bring everybody into one combined health record that worked for everybody.”

One workspace, a program per contract

  • Each funded contract is its own program. A clinician in one sees only that program's cases.
  • Each program asks only the questions its own funder needs.
  • A person served under two contracts is one person, described the same way on both reports.

Sessions and screening

  • One clinical service record per session. An assessment or progress report done in a session is counted without adding a session.
  • Scored screening forms such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5 and ACE-10.
  • Discharge and program completion are recorded as separate counts.

Outcomes funders accept

  • One outcome form sits behind several reports: the instrument, pre or post, the score and the outcome it measures.
  • A person counts toward an outcome only once both the pre and the post exist.

Funder reports, line by line

  • VOCA, VAWA, SASP, NCA, HMIS, IFSATS and TANF reports are computed from individual records, with no spreadsheet step.
  • Ask the reporting agent, the AI assistant that runs your funder reports, to run one in chat. Collaborate's tested reports compute the numbers, so the same question gives the same numbers every run.
